Food was excellent for the price. Absolutely loved the biscuits, so biggest and fluffy! Will definitely go again on our next trip up. Service was a little slow, but they were busy. Pies looked delicious, and will definitely try next time!

I visited Jake and Dorothy's Cafe this morning for the very first time. I am new to this area, I found the people to be very sweet and kind. I had a very pleasurable conversation.
We have been staying with friends the past week and I love trying new places. And this definitely made me feel at home. Great food and service! My boyfriend had the famous chicken fried steak and he ended up bringing one of them home. He loved it! Definitely going to go back and enjoy more on the menu and try out the pies. Best meal I have ever had while being out. I also love the fact that it's nothing but cash or check.
great food and great servers. has a classic cafe vibe/atmosphere! the chicken fried steak was amazing along with the chicken sandwich and the sweet tea was the best ever. I will definitely be back !
They have amazing $1 hamburgers every Tuesday! And their waffle fries are awesome too! The reason I gave them 4 stars is, because they only take Ca$h. And their to go is not good. I recommend dinning in.
